Identifying pins on the smart card and others

Hello All,
I am working on a design using micro-controller and smart card.
Firstly, how do I identify the VCC, I/O, RST pins etc on the smart card IC?
Does any one has information on the exact interface circuitry needed for interfacing the micro-controller and Smart card IC?
